- Location data: The App requests access to your device's location (precise and background location) to detect and track Tracklet BLE tags near you. Location data is used solely to associate tag sightings with a physical location and is stored securely on our servers linked to your account.
- Bluetooth data: The App scans for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices to detect nearby Tracklet tags. No data about third-party Bluetooth devices is collected or stored.
- Account information: When you register, we collect your email address to identify your account. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled exclusively via a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your email address.
- Device information: We may collect device identifiers and operating system information for diagnostic and security purposes.
How We Use Your Information
- To operate and maintain the App and its tag-tracking features.
- To associate tag scan events with your account and location history.
- To send push notifications about tag activity (if enabled).
- To diagnose technical issues and improve the service.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with service providers who assist us in operating the App (e.g., cloud hosting), subject to strict confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law.
